Two mass file releases have changed the Cub community forever. The controversial release of the Cub files has leaked many secrets. Like the tunnels under Loyola Hall or the newly discovered secret society, also known as the Pinney Hall teachers’ lounge. On the other hand, the Epstein files release has revealed many previously unknown relationships. Elon Musk has been dominating his peers for years. Yet, he has not only turned into the most valuable man multiple times over, but also has become intertwined with American Politics. Although he is successful now, at one point in time, Elon was an outcast in his group. It may seem out of touch, but Elon Musk and Jefferey Epstein’s relationship has an uncanny similarity with Loyola Cub relationships. This is a story of an upbringing… After being ostracized and rejected, he overcame these adversities. Elon stands as a symbol of perseverance through hard times. While Elon is finally successful beyond island parties, a Loyola Teacher is struggling to fit in. The Cub file release exposed a society hiding in the Pinney Hall teachers’ lounge. The club is an exclusive, invite-only establishment that most teachers can only dream of being a part of. The teacher, for instance, has been trying for the past four years to join all the fun card games after school. The gatekeeper, whilst respecting the teacher, will not invite a teacher below 15 years of tenure at any cost. In a leaked document from the Cub File Database, the teacher was caught desperate for an invitation:
October 24, 2025:
>> FROM: Anonymous Teacher
>> TO: Gatekeeper <[email protected]>
>> SUBJECT: epic teachers’ lounge party you told me about >>
Hi Sir! I was thinking of coming over for an epic party.. a teacher’s retreat. (English Department FTW!) I cleared my calendar. What are the details? Thank you, good sir.
>> -T
While the email is quite endearing, unfortunately, the gatekeeper did not find it appealing. In fact, he didn’t even want to respond, 12 hours later, he ended up delegating the email to the still unknown figure, “G”:
>> FROM: “[email protected]” “<[email protected]>”
>> TO: G
>> SUBJECT: FWD: epic teachers’ lounge party you told me about >>
>> deal with this.
thanyou
What seems to be a relaxing teachers’ lounge is only just a front for a tightly controlled operation. The rejection is almost instantaneous, and all these responses are calculated. Just by seeing this email chain, one can infer the hierarchical levels and how deep it actually goes. When the gatekeeper emailed, “go deal with this,” it set the tone of him as a kingpin in this realm, blunt and structured. Not just ten minutes later does his subordinate email back:
>> FROM: G
>> TO: Anonymous Teacher
>> SUBJECT: epic teachers’ lounge party you told me about >>
>> I’m so sorry, sir! You just missed the gatekeeper. He actually told me he was thinking of winding down the entire Pinney Hall operation. Bummer! If it starts up again, we’ll be sure to let you know.
This scandal will restructure the tone for all faculty decisions. If we treat staff not for their character and only based on their years served, one can wonder how many beyond-qualified educators are being denied. Teachers, like the one present in the email, press their ear against the lounge wall, listening to the shuffle, just yearn to be a part of the club.
However, Musk is an example of moving forward beyond just social circles. One can turn into their best self just by being committed to their goals and living life to the fullest. No matter what is going on socially, hard work and dedication will always prevail.
