In his sophomore year at the University of Michigan, David Long ’16 has started at defensive back in nine of Michigan’s past eleven games. Long said, “Preparation is a big key.
“Whether it’s school or football you have to apply yourself in order to succeed. It allows you to perform things in a confident manner, and Loyola taught me that for sure. Trust in the coaching, and as with anything else if you want to be better you have to do more than the average person.” This season, Long has totaled 19 tackles and two interceptions. The Wolverines ended their season with a record of 8-4 and a fourth place finish in the Big 10 East.
