After 4 years without an album, and over a year of delaying a release date, Atlanta rapper Playboi Carti decided to drop his 4th studio album “MUSIC” this past Friday. Carti surprised fans with 30 songs, making up for his silence since 2020.
The album included both popular tracks that were previously not available on Spotify and newly written songs. Many of the biggest names in hip-hop appeared on “MUSIC”, including Travis Scott, The Weeknd and Kendrick Lamar.
Playboi Carti attended “Rolling Loud” in Los Angeles the following Sunday, performing the newly written songs from the album for his loyal supporters. The polarizing rapper also supplemented his performance with past hits, rewarding his patient diehard fans.
