Student Council will host its second dance of the year, “Overtime,” open to Loyola students and girls from local schools tonight from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m in Xavier Center. The dance will promote school spirit and give students an opportunity to socialize with people from other schools, according to Senior Class President Tommy Vossler.
The dance will take place after tonight’s last home football game against Bishop Amat. To enter the dance, Loyola students and high school girls in attendance at the football game will need both their school I.D. and their ticket from tonight’s game.
Food will be provided only at the football game, but there will be water available at the dance. Groove Factor Entertainment is providing a DJ for the dance.
Student Council moderator Mr. Chris Walter said, “Since there will be a lot of students on campus, we [the student council]wanted to create an event after the game for them all to enjoy. I am hoping for a successful football game and then a successful dance as well.”
Senior Matt Richmond said, “I want all the seniors to be there because it is senior night. I’m excited to see the energy that the seniors will bring to this football game and dance.”
