Golden Cubs reunite at 23rd annual luncheon

The Golden Cubs Luncheon took place on ursday, Dec. 1. The event started with a Mass presided by the Rev. Gregory M. Goethals, S.J. ’73, followed by a reception in Xavier Center that included beverages, appetizers and lunch.

e luncheon reunited Loyola alumni from the graduating classes of 1927 through 1966. is year’s luncheon marked the 23rd celebration of the event. Cubs of all different backgrounds and careers reunited to relive their Loyola experiences with each other.

Administrative Assistant for Advancement Katie Harding said, “ e event is special because it allows our alumni to reconnect with their classmates and friends to catch up and relive friendships.”

Thiis year’s installment of the luncheon underwent a crucial change: guests will be able to invite spouses or significant others.
